Sarawak Biodiversity Centre

The Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) is one of State’s agencies leading the research and development (R&D) on biological resources. SBC was established under the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre Ordinance, 1997. It implements documentation of Traditional Knowledge of the indigenous communities a R&D programme to discover novel therapeutic or useful compounds from Sarawak’s unique biodiversity.
