- SCORE is located within the Central Region of Sarawak, stretching for 320 km along the coast from Tanjung Manis to Samalaju.
- It covers an area of 70,708 sq km (56.8%), with a population of 896,489 (35.8%).
- Tanjung Manis, Mukah, Samalaju, Baram and Tunoh have been selected as the five new Growth Nodes, with the aim of focusing investment efforts within SCORE.
- Samalaju is being developed for heavy and energy intensive industries, Mukah as a SMART City (education, services and R&D) and Tanjung Manis as Halal Hub.
